My Story

Throughout my life, I have been deeply drawn to the power of story. I studied film and worked in the industry, later pursuing literature and teaching high school English. This foundation in narrative structure and character development naturally informed my work as a therapist.

In my clinical practice, I began to understand each individual’s story as a reflection of archetypal aspects of the self. By listening closely and holding the continuity of these narratives, I could help map the patterns shaping my clients’ lives. Their behaviors, relational roles, and internal struggles began to make sense within the broader context of their personal stories.

Within these narratives, we could identify both vulnerabilities and strengths—the “Achilles’ heels” alongside the elixir—unique gifts—each person carried. This perspective allowed individuals to move beyond limiting conclusions about themselves and instead reconnect with a more expansive sense of identity.

Rather than viewing clients as problems to be solved, I came to see them as complex and meaningful mysteries—their stories waiting to be understood, unraveled, and integrated. Through this process, many found a renewed sense of freedom, reclaiming authorship of their lives and stepping more fully into the role of the hero within their own journey.
