Liz Olson, ACMHC | Anxiety & Trauma Therapist in Millcreek, Utah

Compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for emotional overwhelm, painful experiences, and recurring patterns.

A Place to Be Fully Known

Many of us learn to hide the parts of ourselves that feel too emotional, vulnerable, or “too much.” Yet beneath that protection is a desire to be understood and accepted as we are.

In therapy, I make room for all of you. You don’t need to perform or have everything figured out. Together, we create a space where what has been hidden can be met with curiosity, compassion, and care.

A Steady Presence

I aim to be a grounded presence, especially when the work feels difficult. We will explore painful memories, emotions, and patterns at your pace while helping you reconnect with your own strength and capacity to navigate what once felt overwhelming.

Together, we may:

  • Welcome the emotions, needs, and protective parts you have felt unsafe showing.

  • Explore your history so confusing patterns begin to make sense.

  • Recognize the resilience and courage that can be difficult to see on your own.

  • Build the self-understanding and confidence to live more authentically.

Becoming More Fully Yourself

I think of therapy as tending to the roots: understanding what has been buried, releasing what no longer serves you, and making room for new growth.

My own experience of being deeply seen in therapy shapes the warmth, honesty, and curiosity I bring to this work. You remain the author of your journey. I will meet you wherever the work takes us.
